My mission is to empower children and young adults to thrive in their daily lives by providing personalized occupational therapy services that support their unique developmental needs. I specialize in comprehensive assessments and evidence-based treatments, with a focus on sensory processing and retained primitive reflexes—key areas that can significantly impact learning, behavior, and motor coordination. Through a compassionate, play-based approach, I aim to help each individual build the skills and confidence needed to participate fully at home, in school, and within their community. I believe in working collaboratively with families and caregivers to create meaningful, lasting change.
As an occupational therapist working with children and young adults, I provide comprehensive assessments and individualized treatment plans tailored to support developmental, functional, and sensory needs. My approach includes evaluating sensory processing abilities, identifying any challenges that may impact daily activities, learning, and social participation. I also assess for retained primitive reflexes, which can interfere with motor coordination, attention, and postural control if not properly integrated. Treatment interventions are play-based, goal-oriented, and designed to enhance sensory regulation, fine and gross motor skills, and overall independence. By addressing these foundational aspects, I aim to help each child or young adult reach their full potential in home, school, and community settings.
With over a decade of experience in pediatric Occupational Therapy, I am excited to provide high quality and individualized therapy in the most natural environment - your home.
The first step is to send me an email, give me a call or use the form on the website to send me a message. I will get back to you as soon as I can.
I will schedule a phone call with you to hear about your child's needs and discuss what I have to offer. I will answer any questions you might have. This is a free consultation call.
The initial assessment will take place at your home where the child is most comfortable. It will be a hands-on assessment to establish your child's current level of function and also include a parent/caregiver interview for medical history, concerns and goals.
Once I receive prior authorization from insurance (Medicaid), I will contact you and we can set up time and day for the first therapy session. If you are private pay, this will be set-up during the initial assessment to start therapy immediately.
